American Disposal Holiday Schedule

For the upcoming holidays — Thanksgiving Day (November 27), Christmas Day (December 25), and New Year’s Day (January 1) American Disposal operations will follow a modified "push" schedule. Services originally scheduled for the holiday and the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day to accommodate holiday closures. Specifically:

  • Thursday services (yard waste pickup) will be moved to Friday

  • Friday services (trash pickup) will be moved to Saturday

In the event of inclement weather, service updates will be posted on the American Disposal website after their  operations team has evaluated road conditions to ensure safety for the community.

Weekly Yard Waste Guidelines

  • Limit: Up to 10 paper bags of yard waste are accepted per week.

  • Grass Clippings: Must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or in a personal container clearly marked "Yard Waste."

  • Tree Limbs: Should be bundled with rope or twine, no longer than 4 feet in length and no thicker than 3 inches in diameter.

  • Weight Limit: Each bag or bundle must not exceed 50 pounds.

  • Container Placement: Please ensure all containers are placed 3 feet apart from each other and at least 10 feet away from other obstacles (e.g., mailboxes, vehicles, utility poles).

Holiday Tree Collection

  • Christmas Trees will be collected during the first two weeks of January.

  • Please remove all decorations and stands before placing trees curbside.
