BASKETBALL COURT -  TRASH AND GRAFFITI

Recently, people have been leaving trash on the basketball court, and racial slurs and other offensive language have been written on the court surface. The board authorized payment for a service to clean the area last weekend, but more trash has been left on the court in the following days.

The court was refurbished in 2022 at considerable expense. Continued damage, vandalism, and graffiti will result in temporary closure of the court. Once reopened, if the inconsiderate behavior continues, the court will be closed permanently, or HOA fees will be substantially increased to account for the additional maintenance required to keep it usable. This facility was put in place for community members and their families to enjoy, and it would be a shame to close it because of a few thoughtless people. Please emphasize to your families the importance of maintaining our community amenities and the potential consequences if the trash and graffiti continue.
